This Fellowship supports pursuit of an MBA by engineering professionals eager to complement the power of their quantitative, qualitative, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills with strategic business acumen to become leading innovators who positively shape our world. Rohrer MBA Engineering the Future of Business Fellows seek to excel in technology enterprise environments by leading execution across projects, programs, functional units, organizations, industries, and markets. In drawing on analytical thinking while also examining issues from strategic business perspectives, MBA Fellows in Engineering elevate engineering solutions by incorporating financial, marketing, commercialization, management information systems and organizational strategy considerations. By building a focus on people development, management and leadership skills, MBA Fellows set their stage to grow from being a technical expert to becoming a leader making business decisions. Whether focusing on life-saving medical equipment, clean water, reliable energy, transportation systems, fast communications, manufacturing, or our ever-complex food supply chain, MBA Fellows seek to change the world for the better.
Current professional roles or targeted paths for graduate students might include the following types of Engineers or Engineering Technologists: Mechanical, Electrical, Software, Industrial, Chemical, Civil, Environmental, Aerospace, Computer, Bioengineering and Biomedical, Petroleum, Materials, Health and Safety, Mining and Geological, Agricultural, Nuclear, Architectural, Structural, Transportation or Marine. Rohrer MBA Fellowship - Funding Awards
- MBA Fellows are each granted a funding award upon being selected to participate in the program
- Awards range from $1,500 - 10,000 total per student
- Awards are distributed over the lifetime of MBA studies on a semester-by-semester basis (evenly distributed across each graduate course taken)
