Robert D. Lynch MBA Scholarship
Recognizes excellence and promise in MBA students in areas of leadership, engagement with the MBA community, and commitment to actively contributing to the growing stature and reputation of the Rohrer MBA. This prestigious award is named in honor of Dr. Robert D. Lynch, Founding Director of the MBA Program at Rowan and Professor Emeritus of the Rohrer College of Business.
Robert D. Lynch MBA Scholarship Award
The $2,000 Robert D. Lynch MBA Scholarship is paid in two installments over the course of one academic year, e.g., the first half in Fall and the second in Spring.

Lynch Scholarship Eligibility Requirements
- Applicants must be currently enrolled either part-time or full time at Rowan University and in good academic standing.
- Undergraduate and graduate students are eligible to apply.
- To receive the full funding of the scholarship, students must be an actively enrolled MBA student in the following academic year for both the Fall and Spring semesters, as the Lynch MBA Scholarship is paid in two installments over the course of one academic year. (A special request can be made to award the full scholarship in the Fall for a recipient who will be graduating at the end of the Fall semester.)

The application opens each Spring semester, typically in February with a deadline in April, via the Financial Aid Office.
- Students can log in to Rowan Scholarship Universe to submit an application.
- To be considered, applicants must submit:
- Resume
- Essay articulating strengths and goals in areas of leadership, engagement with the Rohrer MBA community, and commitment to actively contributing to the growing stature and reputation of the Rohrer MBA.
- A selection committee will review all applicants.
- Finalist candidates will be invited to an interview with selection committee members to ensure a strong match and commitment to the College. This interview may be waived for candidates who are current MBA students and already actively engaged with the Office of Graduate Business Studies Team.
