- Applicants must be currently enrolled at Rowan University and in good academic standing.
- Undergraduate and graduate students are eligible to apply.
- To be considered, applicants must submit:
- Resume
- Essay which articulates strengths and goals in areas of leadership, engagement with the Rohrer MBA community, and commitment to actively contributing to the growing stature and reputation of the Rohrer MBA.
- To receive the full funding of the Scholarship, students must be an actively enrolled MBA student in the following academic year (Fall and Spring) as the Tanika Wilson MBA Scholarship is paid in two installments over the course of one academic year, e.g., the first half in Fall and the second in Spring. (A special request can be made to award the full scholarship in the Fall for a recipient that will be graduating in that Fall semester.)

The application opens each Spring semester, typically in February with a deadline in April, via the Financial Aid Office.
- Students can log in to the Rowan Scholarship Universe to submit an application.
- Students submit:
- Resume
- Essay which articulates strengths and goals in areas of leadership, engagement with the Rohrer MBA community, and commitment to actively contributing to the growing stature and reputation of the Rohrer MBA.
- A selection committee will review all applicants, prefernce will be given to students who work experience during undergraduate work or before starting their MBA and have child caregiving responsibilities.
- Finalist candidates will be invited to an interview with selection committee members to ensure a strong match and commitment to the College. This interview may be waived for candidates that are current MBA students and already actively engaged with the Office of Graduate Business Studies Team.
Meet Tanika Wilson
A 2005 Rowan University MBA graduate, Tanika Wilson has 25 years of progressive health and benefit industry experience. She is a strategic, award-winning leader with a record of contributing to significant growth in revenue and profitability for multiple health and benefit industry leaders. She is recognized for spearheading new product development, process improvement, cost control, and performance optimization. In her current role as the Director of Portfolio Execution at Elevance Health, she leads enterprise and central region teams consisting of implementation, benefit design and coding, membership, process development and training. Elevance Health is a provider of health insurance, the largest for-profit managed health care company in the Blue Cross Blue Shield Association, has approximately 40 million members, and is ranked 29th on the Fortune 500. Prior to moving into operations, Tanika served as a Senior Account Executive for Northeast National Accounts where she managed a complex portfolio of clients including several Fortune 500 clients. The key to Tanika’s success is her belief in creating internal and external partnerships based on her brand value of relationships cultivated on trust. This foundation is key to her not only being a consultative partner but also an advocate for her clients, mentees, associates or any passion project she encounters. Saving the best for last, Tanika is a loving wife and mother to two daughters. She enjoys traveling with her family and friends, photography and laughter.
