Business Administration Minor
The Minor in Business is a program of study serving two groups of students in non-business majors.
- The first group are those who wish to reinforce their employment credentials by taking several business courses. A Minor in Business provides students with a strong and credible program. Many large corporations recognize the importance of a strong background in the liberal arts and sciences. In addition, these corporations look for entry-level business skills. A Minor in Business provides these skills.
- The second group of students are those who plan to do graduate work in Business. Many students find they can enhance their promotion opportunities with an advanced degree in Business. Some students choose the Minor in Business realizing that the minor contains courses which many colleges require for their MBA programs.

Entrepreneurship Minor
Entrepreneurship Minor
With the creation of an Entrepreneurship Minor, students from all colleges of Rowan University will have an opportunity to learn entrepreneurial knowledge and skills by enrolling and completing entrepreneurship courses. Students’ entrepreneurial accomplishments will be established when they graduate with the ENT minor along with their chosen academic major.
The undergraduate minor in entrepreneurship is one of the fastest growing minors on campus, attracting students from not just traditional business disciplines, but also from engineering, computer science, music industry, education, journalism, art, physics, theatre and radio, tv and film.
This is largely because Rowan entrepreneurship minors are equipped with the skillset and mindset needed for success, regardless of whether their goal is to launch a technology company a social enterprise or nonprofit, a small business or work as an intrapreneur in a large corporation or family business. By aligning and exploiting synergies between domain-specific business courses and traditional Rowan entrepreneurship courses, students from across Rowan’s campus can earn a minor in entrepreneurship in a very cost- and time-efficient way.
