B.S. Finance
The Finance major requires the common core of the College of Business courses. It provides students with a broad understanding of financial theory and institutions.

The program prepares students for a variety of career opportunities within financial institutions, governmental agencies and private industry. These include financial analysis, cash management, credit analysis, pension and investment fund management, capital budgeting analysis, investment and commercial banking, and securities management.

FinTech Concentration

As part of the B.S. in Finance, students can choose to specialize by adding a concentration in Financial Technology (FinTech). The FinTech Concentration prepares students for careers at the intersection of finance and technology by blending financial theory with hands-on exposure to emerging tools and platforms. Students in the FinTech concentration explore the transformative impact of technology on financial markets, institutions, and decision-making.
The curriculum covers topics such as blockchain, cryptocurrencies, digital payments, data analytics, and algorithmic trading. Through a combination of theoretical foundations, applied tools, and data-driven methods, students gain practical skills and insight into how innovation is reshaping the financial industry. The program emphasizes both academic rigor and real-world relevance, preparing graduates for careers at the forefront of financial technology such as financial analysis, risk management, technology consulting, quantitative trading, and cybersecurity.
