Introduction

Rob is a Tax Partner in our New York office with over 15 years of public accounting experience in the firm’s Private Equity Investor Services Group.  He specializes in providing tax planning and compliance services to private equity funds, merchant banking firms and other types of professional service firms.  His expertise includes advising on fund structure, review of partnership agreements and related documents and consulting on tax allocation methodologies.  In addition, he has significant experience in publicly traded partnerships, providing tax due diligence support in acquisitions and also specializes in ASC 740 for private equity.  Rob is also our East Region Inclusion Leader and plays a major role in the training and development of the tax professionals in our Private Equity Investor Services Group.  He instructs at firm seminars offered nationally and locally on industry topics.

Rob is a licensed CPA in New York, New Jersey and Maryland and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.  Rob received his Juris Doctor from Rutgers Law School.  Rob also has his Enrolled Agents License and is a member of Deloitte’s National Private Equity Committee.
