Jia Wang, Professor of Finance, holds a B.S. in Accounting from Tsinghua University, China, an M.S. in Statistics and a Ph.D. in Finance from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. Her research interests focus on empirical asset pricing, market efficiency, trading strategies and empirical methods in finance.   She has published in a number of journals including Journal of Banking and Finance, European Journal of Operational Research, International Journal of Production Economics, Journal of Alternative Investments, International Review of Financial Analysis, International Journal of Finance, Financial Services Review, Journal of Investing, among others. Her teaching interests include investments and derivatives.   She has won Alumni Advisory Council Award for Scholarly Achievement, MBA Professor of the Year, Teaching Innovation Award and Wall of Fame Teaching Awards since joining Rowan University. She currently serves as Program Coordinator for MS in Finance program and also serves on the editorial board for the Journal Accounting and Finance Research.
