Biography

Yang Yang received a Ph.D. in Business Administration from Ivey Business School at Western University in Canada. Before joining Rowan University, she completed postdoctoral study at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

Yang’s primary research interests include women in leadership, work-life flexibility, strategic HRM, and corporate governance. Her work has been published in Group and Organization Management, Human Resource Management, Journal of Business Research, Journal of Management, Journal of Management Studies, Journal of Organizational Behavior, Journal of Vocational Behavior, Leadership Quarterly, and other journals, as well as recognized as a recipient of scholarly awards, including the Rosabeth Moss Kanter Award for Excellence in Work-Family Research, the Transnational Faculty Research Paper Award at the Academy of Management (AOM), the Organization Management Journal Best Paper Award, and a Journal of Management Scholarly Impact Award finalist
