Biography


Andrew Van Hook holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting from Rowan University and a Master of Science in Taxation (with Highest Honors) from Goldey-Beacom College in Wilmington, DE. He is licensed as a Certified Public Accountant and enrolled to represent taxpayers before the Internal Revenue Service in all 50 States. After completing a three-year program, Andrew was recently admitted as a Fellow of the National Tax Practice Institute. As a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, New Jersey Society of Public Accountants, National Association of Enrolled Agents, and others, Andrew stays actively engaged in the profession. Andrew is also a partner in a South Jersey based CPA firm where he specializes in tax controversy and taxation of entities and individuals with complex tax situations.

At Rowan, Andrew teaches courses in financial accounting as well as taxation. He is also involved in planning for the Accounting & Finance Expo and the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program.
