Biography

Richard (Rick) Marmon has been teaching courses in law, accounting, tax, and auditing at Rowan University since 1985. Professor Marmon earned a MBA in finance from LaSalle University, a JD from Widener University and a LLM in taxation from Villanova University. He is both a CPA and CMA and a member of the New Jersey Bar Association and the Pennsylvania Bar Association. Professor Marmon had previous "Big Eight" accounting experience and served as a law clerk in the appellate division of the New Jersey Superior Court. He previously taught all sections of the uniform CPA exam and has been featured as an expert in financial, legal, and tax matters for various media outlets. Professor Marmon was a recipient of the Wall of Fame Award presented by the Rowan University Center For Excellence in Teaching and Learning in 2001 and 2011.
