Biography

Saravanan Kuppusamy (SK) holds a PhD in Operations Management from the University of Cincinnati. Prior to his PhD, SK was employed for several years across multiple industry verticals, including logistics, construction-agricultural equipment manufacturing, and consumer packaged goods, working with companies such as Schneider Logistics, PepsiCo, Kimberly-Clark, and Case New Holland. His research interests include sustainable operations, supply chain management, inventory management, transportation, additive manufacturing, and food supply chains. SK has published research papers in leading journals such as the European Journal of Operational Research, International Journal of Production Research, and Transportation Research Part E. At Rowan University, he teaches courses in global supply chain, supply chain analytics, and business logistics.
