Biography
Dr. Elika Kordrostami is an Associate Professor of Marketing in the Department of Marketing and Business Information Systems at the William G. Rohrer College of Business, Rowan University. She holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration and an MBA with a concentration in Marketing. Dr. Kordrostami completed her Ph.D. in Marketing with a minor in International Business at Old Dominion University. With a rich teaching portfolio, Dr. Kordrostami has taught courses across a variety of marketing topics, including Digital Marketing, Advertising Strategy, International Marketing, Marketing Research, and Services Marketing. Her approach to teaching blends theoretical foundations with practical applications, preparing students for real-world marketing challenges. Dr. Kordrostami’s research focuses on consumer behavior in online environments, artificial intelligence governance, and sustainable consumption. She regularly presents her work at prominent national and international conferences, such as the American Marketing Association, Association for Consumer Research, and Academy of Marketing Science. Her research has been published in leading academic journals, including the European Journal of Marketing, Marketing Letters, Journal of Retailing and Consumer Services, and Journal of Consumer Marketing, among others.
