Beta Gamma Sigma — Rowan University Chapter

Each year, the Rowan University chapter welcomes its newest class of inductees in a formal ceremony held at the Rohrer College of Business. Families, faculty, and the business community gather to honorstudents who have earned this distinction through academic excellence.

Since 1913, through over 900 chapters, Beta Gamma Sigma has recognized the top 10% of business students in AACSB-accredited schools. We exist to honor excellence, develop business leaders, and be a force for good.

Membership in Beta Gamma Sigma is by invitation only — extended to students who have demonstrated exceptional academic achievement at Rowan's AACSB-accredited Rohrer College of Business. Invitation is automatic for eligible students. When your GPA places you in the top 10% of your class, you will receive an invitation to join — a recognition that belongs to you, for life.

Once inducted, you become part of a global network of over 1 million members spanning Fortune 500 companies, governments, NGOs, and academic institutions worldwide.

AACSB International accreditation — one of fewer than 6% of business schools worldwide
Top 10% GPA ranking within your undergraduate or graduate program
Minimum of 30 credit hours completed (undergraduates) or significant graduate progress
Committed to the values of integrity, leadership, and service
Invitation only. Eligible students are identified by the Rohrer College of Business and contacted directly with an invitation each semester

Industry Speaker Series

Our Industry Speaker Series serves as a vital bridge between the classroom and the boardroom. We regularly invite high-level executives, successful entrepreneurs, and distinguished alumni to share their firsthand experiences regarding career trajectories and emerging market trends. Professional Development Workshops

To ensure our members graduate with more than just a degree, BGS hosts intensive Professional Development Workshops focused on practical career readiness. From refining a recruiter-ready resume and mastering LinkedIn optimization to practicing high-stakes interview techniques, our workshops translate academic achievement into professional presence and employability.

Peer Tutoring & Academic Support

Academic excellence is the cornerstone of Beta Gamma Sigma, and our members take an active role in upholding the rigorous standards of the Rohrer College of Business. Through our peer tutoring program, BGS members provide specialized academic support to fellow business students in challenging core subjects. This initiative not only helps our peers succeed in their coursework but also strengthens the collaborative culture and academic reputation of Rowan University as a whole.

Community Service Projects
