Hello everyone!
Here are some upcoming events at rowan (for both undergrad and grad), as well as fellowship/internship opportunities happening this winter. All the events and oportunities listed will relate to topics surrounding responsible leadership.
As a reminder, responsible leadership refers to leaders are deemed to properly and justly meet ethical, normative, and moral obligations they have with respect to defined stakeholders and are willing to be held accountable for the consequences of their actions.

Alliance for Research on Corporate Sustainability 2024 Virutal Seminar Series
The goals of this seminar series are, to give thought leaders in sustainability the opportunity to present their work and obtain valuable feedback, give an opportunity to junior scholars to network with the speaker and obtain career advice, and to be more inclusive and strengthen our global ARCS community throughout the year. In addition, we invite the future generation of thought leaders – namely the Ivey/ARCS Ph.D. Sustainability Academy Award Winner – to present their work.

2024 Conservation Finance Boot Camp (In-Person and Virtual!)
The Conservation Finance Network (CFN) is pleased to announce our 18th annual Conservation Finance Boot Camp will be held June 3-June 7th, 2024, at the Yale School of the Environment in New Haven, CT, in partnership with the Yale Center for Business and the Environment. The Boot Camp is a week-long intensive workshop that helps mid-career professionals utilize innovative and effective financing strategies to achieve durable, equitable and climate-resilient conservation, restoration, and stewardship of natural resources. The 2024 course will also feature a hybrid participation option for core content sessions. There is no application process for virtual participation–anyone may register to attend.
The Boot Camp offers in-depth insight on trends and opportunities in:

4th Annual Sustainability Week US: Economist Impact

The Sustainability Professionals Exchange is a whole event based on creating that experience, by ensuring that you are always having the most interesting conversation possible. It provides a forum for exchanging ideas and relationship-building.

Fellowship / Internship Opportunities
UNITED NATIONS - Intern, Climate and Environment
The United Nations Foundation is committed to working with the UN, governments, and other critical stakeholders to galvanize the collective action required to meet the world’s climate and environmental challenges. Toward that goal, the Climate and Environment Intern will provide support to the Climate and Environment team on greenhouse gas accounting, research, communications, and event management until April 2023.
This is a paid opportunity and offers a rate of $17/hour for individuals currently enrolled in or recently graduated from (within 8 months of graduation) an associate degree or bachelor’s degree program; and $20/hour for individuals currently enrolled
PSEG Green Teams (Open to All Majors - Undergrad Only)
Thank you for your interest in the PSEG Institute for Sustainability Studies (PSEG ISS) Green Teams Program. The PSEG ISS Green Teams are transdisciplinary teams of students who serve corporations, organizations, non-profits, municipalities, and community groups to address substantial sustainability issues. The PSEG ISS Green Teams Program is a multi-institutional internship program targeted to upper-level undergraduates (exceptional rising sophomores may also be considered) from any discipline who are interested in sustainability.

Become a Climate Corps Fellow:
Climate Corps fellows are graduate students who work with companies, public institutions, and non-profit organizations to meet climate commitments by identifying opportunities to reduce emissions in their operations and supply chains. We are looking for graduate students from diverse backgrounds, with a range of experiences, training, and ambition, who are motivated to join the climate workforce and advance climate projects within organizations.
