Build an MBA Around Your Goals
Rowan’s MBA portfolio includes a 30-credit MBA, a 36-credit MBA, and a distinct 36-credit STEM MBA. All three are built on the same 18-credit MBA Core, taught by the same RCB faculty, and draw from the same graduate business curriculum, with students often sharing course sections.
Across these options, students build broad knowledge across core business functions and use Concentrations and graduate business electives to develop focused depth in selected areas. What differs is how each structure uses Concentration and elective coursework and, for the STEM MBA, how STEM-designated study is incorporated into the degree.
Compare Rowan MBA Programs and Options
36-Credit MBA Option
Complete the 18-credit MBA Core and 18 credits of Concentration and elective coursework. Choose two Concentrations or one Concentration plus three graduate business electives. This structure supports additional specialization and is the MBA option used for approved accelerated and shared-credit pathways.
30-Credit MBA Option
Complete the 18-credit MBA Core, one 9-credit Concentration, and one 3-credit graduate business elective through a focused MBA structure.
STEM MBA
Complete a distinct 36-credit STEM MBA with at least 18 credits of STEM-designated coursework, combining broad business study with sustained quantitative, analytical, and technology-enabled coursework.

The Rowan graduate application is still being updated to add the 30-credit MBA and STEM MBA as distinct selections. Until those options appear, submit the current MBA application, then contact the admissions team that matches your intended format or applicant type and identify the MBA option you intend to pursue. The admissions team will coordinate the update to your record.
