Finance Mentorship

Finance Mentorship

What is the Finance Mentorship Program?

The Finance Mentorship Program is a new program created to provide direction to upper level undergraduate students interested in the field of finance. The students gain a greater understanding of the finance field, particularly in terms of career and educational options, while the mentors have the opportunity to reconnect with the university and serve as a positive role model to our students.

How does it Work?

After students and mentors register to participate, one to three students will be assigned to each volunteer mentor. Students are matched with mentors based on areas of interest and field of expertise within finance. Students and mentors will be expected to work together to determine the best means of communication. Some areas of discussion could include graduate studies, career choices, professional certification, job responsibilities for various finance positions, etc.

What is the Time Commitment?

The time commitment will vary depending upon the types and lengths of student interactions. A reception will be held to provide an opportunity for face-to-face communications. More information about the reception will be provided to all those who register.

How do I sign up to participate?

STUDENTS: Finance Mentorship Program launches at the beginning of every Fall semester when students get informed about the registration process.
