Financial Planning Minor
The Financial Planning minor is a six-course program designed to prepare students for careers in personal financial planning. As a CFP Board–Registered Minor Program, it delivers a well-rounded curriculum that builds both technical knowledge and practical skills. Students learn the principles and ethical standards that guide the profession while developing the ability to support clients in key areas such as investment planning, taxation, risk management and insurance, retirement planning, and estate planning. Completion of the minor fulfills the educational requirement needed to sit for the CFP® certification exam.
