BS/MS Accounting 4+1 Program
Joint Degree: Bachelor of Science in Accounting & Master of Science in Accounting CADP 4+1 Program
Starting in Fall 2024, Rowan University is planning to offer a CADP (Combined Advanced Degree Program; formerly 4+1) accelerated dual degree program where students can earn a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and a Master of Science in Accounting in 5 years. Students in this program will take 12 credits of the 30 credit MS Accounting program as a senior, saving time and expense—a full semester and over $5,000—on their MS Accounting pursuit.
The strength of a Bachelor of Science in Accounting at Rowan University is in the emphasis on practical and theoretical content to help students prepare for ethical participation in various accounting careers, including careers in professional accounting and financial management. The Accounting Program at Rowan University's Rohrer College of Business has been ranked the #3 accounting program in the state of New Jersey by the Accounting Degree Review.
Pairing the BS in Accounting with the MS in Accounting through this CADP 4+1 program prepares students to sit for the Certified Public Accountant exam. The MS Accounting prepares students for potential career opportunities in accounting, audit, tax, consulting with a CPA firm, industry, non-profit, or governmental entity roles such as: auditor, tax accountant, forensic accountant, cost accountant, investment banker, etc.
