Biography
Dr. Santos’s research interests include the cognitive and psychosocial processes of entrepreneurial teams, entrepreneurship education and entrepreneurial ecosystems. Santos is author of the book "Poverty and Entrepreneurship in Developed Economies " published by Edward Elgar, and her work has also been published in leading outlets including Entrepreneurship Theory and Practice, Small Business Economics, Journal of Small Business Management, and Journal of Business Research. In 2015 Santos received the Excellence in the Entrepreneurship Classroom award at the XVI Experiential Classroom, and in 2017 she received the Best Reviewer Award from the Academy of Management Entrepreneurship Division. Santos holds a Ph.D. in Management from University Institute of Lisboa (Instituto Universitário de Lisboa, ISCTE-IUL), and a B.S. in Work and Organizational Psychology from University of Lisbon, Portugal.
